I had the same issue when I was using plugs awhile back but haven't had the issue but once and after I hit them with the neem they disappeared but honestly there are safer ways im sure
Also I'll note that it normally works but not always. Some bugs are more resistant I think and if it don't work you'll have to have another method to eradicate them because certain mites become immune to neem over time and become super mites lol
Also you can spray it in the morning or afternoon as long as it's on the soil. It will kill any pest in the soil and it's especially effective if you can literally see little bugs crawling up and down your stem. Do that and they suddenly disappear lol same with the ones on the leafs but no...
I have done it many times and that's the only way to use it if your in flower. Mostly it's used in veg but it's super important to not have any wind blowing one drop on a bud and you Midas well toss it
Being extra careful not to spray even towards the buds. I even went as far as covering the plant with a Walmart bag and then spraying the soil to ensure nothing hits those precious buds
I would also be super careful with the Damascus Earth. Not forsure but I think that stuff may have some very light parts to it that cod blow around in your tent and get on your buds as well. Almost like ashes fly when you smoke and get to close to a window in a car. Just something to keep in mind
That de may be your best option or I think there may be a certain type of lime stone that works as well. I think atleast I'd be worried about the ph with that stuff tho
Also I had lady bugs too and sprayed Neem on the soil. The lady bugs I had pretty much stayed on the leaves and the mites where going up and down the stalk to get to the leaves
