CO2, high intensity RH/Temp or Low to avoid budrot?

Any idea what instrument can be used to measure temp on surface of leaves and plant ? Would love to buy something that can help me ensure my crop doesn't lose quality due to temperature on the actual plant.

What do the calcium stains look like ? I'm guessing your not using cal mag and just mag alone since it sounds like your tap has cal already in it and too much at that?

Is that safe for plants ? That sounds like people trying to use cheap pool shock to keep dwc water reservoir sterile instead of paying for UC roots or hydroguard which is specifically designed for plants. I'm guessing that the ph down and up actually for growing and designed for plants must be...

Haven't bought a ppm stick or bluelabs pen for ppm yet. Will update and bump this thread with it one day ;)

So what are safe ppm levels for tap? I heard most are fine but just curious so I know, I'm guessing the lower the better quality but what's the max ppm for tap or any water that I can use in general that won't be harmful at all to the plant ? Would love to know since I will probably switch to...

CO2, high intensity RH/Temp or Low to avoid budrot?

My only concern is that even if you got more trichs, you would have more of the ones you do already have degrade and turn amber by just being milky cloudy white too long. The longer you wait the more amber pops up. But if you're saying more trichs got produced then I gets it's a wash because...

Appreciate it! Didn't realize hydro grows quicker but I mean I'd rather rotate more often or throw in a couple Autoflowers in between to make up for slower soil growth if it does actually produce better terpenes. If you ever grew a couple clones from the same pheno/mother and did one in soil and...

CO2, high intensity RH/Temp or Low to avoid budrot?

So harvesting a week late actually benefited and gave you more trichs since it sucked more life out the dieing plant ? Just want to make sure I have this right. Also are you DWC or soil grower? Under that metal scrog or whatever that is , please let me know what that is for if not for scrogging...

Groovy reservoir man. Looks like a righteous setup! Appreciate the pics, THX!!! I'm guessing you have the water pump on a timer every few hours ? You don't want to over saturate your soil since you aren't doing DWC right ?

CO2, high intensity RH/Temp or Low to avoid budrot?

This didn't answer my question but I really appreciate it. Very good knowledge still. It sounds like you are using lower temps and RH so your trichs are fine and you prob never get mold or bud rot. There's no need for high intensity with those low levels of 5-800 right? I heard higher temps like...

Yea I don't want to search and find previous responses I've received. I want fresh responses about the information on the replies I have already gotten from older threads. Especially from the experienced people.in this thread. Glad you realize this gromie. Much love.

Picking the right hygrometer.. to get that perfect cure each time. Help.

I Heard that with p1 during the drying process immediately after harvesting the plants you should be drying at NO MORE than 65 RH is okay for the first few days. If you don't get it down to around 55 by 4th or 5th day, you won't get it to dry properly. I had it starting at 67 and this is what...

CO2, high intensity RH/Temp or Low to avoid budrot?

Some people claim do high intensity temps and RH until last couple weeks then stop for ethylene ripening to begin. Sure stopping 2 weeks prior decreases yield, but l want the best quality so that aromas don't get damaged and they ripen properly last couple weeks from what I was told. I've also...

Lets talk WATER (buckets, filters, wands)

So what are pros and cons vs soil and hydro? I know hydro can die easier due to plant neglect and soil can help it survive a bit longer until it gets the proper care. Other than that and the rumor I heard that soil is better terpenes, I don't understand the benefits of each clearly.
