Yes you are correct about the R/O. The only reason I actually have it so that I don’t have to clean my humidifiers all the time (Scaling) :). However, it’s also great way to keep the TDS down and perhaps avoid some nutrient locked out - so I’m told. I’m going Hydroponic my next grow - I wish I...
TDS 409
Ph 5.65
5ml CalMag
5ml Grow 5-2-3
1 Gal - .25 gal per plant.
22 Qt pots w soil that tends to compress; so I’m not trying to over water - usually I use .5 Gal per pot. If they respond well I will try more volume a little at a time as they absorb the water/nut’s.
I’m feeding today - half the water and nut’s I usually use as well as omitting the vegamatrix ‘boost’ for CalMag. Again, I’ll test the ph and bring it to around 5.8-6.3 and try and keep the TDS as low as possible w RO Water I just put a double DI Filter on. Let you know how it goes. This soil...
Thanks for all the support guys. I really appreciate it. The soil is a very looose unfertilized mixture of organic soil from a local farm - with a ph of above 7 according to my cheaper tri-meter. Not sure of the exact make-up. Just wanted to stay as organic as possible really hence the...
Ok here’s some updated info:
* Strain; Strawberry cough
* Soil in pots w a Soil pH approx 7.5.
* System type - Vermivulate/Perlite mix at bottom of organic soil mix.
* What is strength of nutrient mix? N/A - will be soon.
R/O Water often has difficulty determining pH if it’s truly 000ppm until...
You’re absolutely right. I think this weekend I may grab some perlite and repot them in the same pots; if you think I can get away with that and it’d help. Like I said this is my first soil grow and I’m an idiot. The new growth is lush and green with only slightly burnt tips so I’m pretty sure...
Hey Guys,
First time grower. Have gone threw the over watering process, let the plants dry out completely flushed them w R/O. Then gave them some light nutrients. All organic Vegamatrix nutrients - organic soil with perlite/vermiculite at bottom of pots. I believe I made the mistake of not...
