They are a good 6 inches away from the light, which produces virtually no heat.

One of the WW seedlings has very strange white/yellow spots on the cotyledons. These spots are symmetrical on both sides. Normal? Sorry about quality, I only had my phone on me.

Is more light required? Perhaps the addition of a few CFLs?

Thanks, done. All 6 seeds have broken through the soil by now. I've been watering in frequent small portions. It seems to minimize the disruption of the seed's orientation, as the soil seems to contract and change shape as I apply the water.
