EmpatheticKush

I'm 44yrs old and a long time smoker, but completely new to growing. In 2011 I unfortunately had to quit smoking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at my dream job. When COVID hit I was laid off and eventually let go with a fat severance check! I used that check and the 9 years experience to start my own company and become a freelance graphic designer. For the 1st time in my life I actually have the free time and money to make an attempt at growing.
Having left the culture for over a decade and then returning, I've noticed a HUGE change in the opinion of marajuana. Both politically and publicly. 20 years ago I probably knew 1 or 2 people who grew. Now it seems that everyone is doing it. 20 years ago, obtaining a grow light and all of the other necessary equipment to grow was a headache. 4 weeks ago, I bought everything that I needed to get myself started and had it arrive at my house in 3 days! 20 years ago it was extremely rare and difficult to purchase a bag of funk that didn't have any seeds. These days it's rare to find a bag of pot that has even a single seed! Marajuana is finally getting the respect it deserves and people are realizing that it's not just about "getting high"... It's so much more!
