Thank you for your input. My thing is how do you outdoor plants tolerate low temperatures? I live in the southeast US-we have mild winters here. I guarantee you there are outdoor growers who are dealing with this during the cold snap. What do they do? Do they drag heaters outside? Turn up the...
Black Sugar. A robust plant that took off from the beginning but is now demonstrating what appears to be phosphorus deficiency. Temperatures in my basement have gotten cold - 40-50’s F in the tent at night. Can’t change that. Experienced growers...Is this a phosphorus deficiency and how do I get...
This girl has been on 12/12 for 10 days. Are these white hairs-pistils? I want to confirm when to begin counting days. In my last grow I was off on my finish date(s).
One is California Kush the other is Gelat OG. Both are at the end (55-60 days) flowering time. Today is day 60. I see very few amber trichs!! Maybe it’s my failing eyesight but it seems that most of the trichs are clear. Could this plant still be 2 to 3 weeks away?
Interesting. Which part of the plant do I look at to see trichs? Or which is the best way to determine when to harvest? I don’t want to pull the plant early. I did that in my last grow.
Pretty good, I think. It’s a Cal Kush-tall and spindly. So the heavy buds lean down. I’ve had trouble with leaf discoloration on this plant for most of its flowering life. I shutter to think what this plant could’ve been if it had been healthy throughout flowering.
I am seeing a few Amber Trichomes on the top cola of my plant. But the rest of the bud sites are clear/cloudy. Would chopping the top cola ONLY do harm to the rest of my plant?
No, nothing but PH'd water from now on. You might be right BobThe420builder. Knowing when to harvest is the biggest challenge for me. Seeing cloudy and/or Amber Trichomes isn't as straightforward as it seems. May I ask why you think I may be more than 10 days out?
New grower. I have been using Fox Farm soils. I ran out today with one more seedling to be transplanted. This is a good opportunity to get away from the nutrient rich soils and go to liquid nutes. Can I get a good recommendation for a basic potting soil I can pick up at Home Depot or Lowes?
Thanks Gentlemen. I am trying not to turn my life upside down or spend tons of money for what amounts to a hobby. I like growing and I enjoy good smoke but I will continue more as a minimalist. My tent runs hot and/or humid-that's just the way it is. One day I may have to surrender to major...
