Thanks - I did get the Extra and got it up and running. Germinated the seeds in a towel and put them into the pods a few days ago. Only have 2 pods though. I think I ordered the wrong plant package - got the tomato one. It has the nutrient packets not tabs - do you think the packets are ok...

I'm sorry but I'm trying to understand the need for the figure 8 cord. Can't you just hook the whole AG up to a timer on an extension cord like you do with Christmas lights? Sorry for probably a reallu dumb question, but I don't have any experience with electrical wires.
