Sorry to hear about how last year ended for you, that's heart breaking. Any structural damage, or just damage to your crop?

I lived off grid for for a few years and my drinking water came from a small stream and flowed to a small water tank, and then gravity fed to my house. That was great water! The only filter, if you want to call it that, was a section of steal screen from a screen door to keep leaves and stuff out.

To the OP. If you are storing water to off gas chlorine, ask the folks who supply your water if they use chlorine or chloramine to sterilize your water. Chlorine off gasses chloramine does not. If it smells like a public pool that's chlorine, the smell is the chlorine off gassing, if it doesn't...

If the bag seed came from a plant that hermied than there is a decent chance the offspring will also cary that trait. If the bag seed is the result of accidental pollination from a male than this won't be the case and you most likely won't get seeds in the last two weeks.
