i tend to see the higher ppm res' float upwards a bit more in the end. and i have to ph down em more. at the beginning i usually am adding up to keep em right around 6-6.2 as this is in the middle of my desired range of 5.8 to 6.5.
edit: while flushing i use basic freshwater for 6-10 hrs ph'd to...
i am re-arranging my setup and am moving my 230v outlets... its pretty simple to build a box yourself from the hardware store. you have the internet at your fingertips. and aslong as you wear gloves and you tern breakers off you dont have to worry about shox! look to the electrician on riu... he...
switch from humbolt to an...? i dunno if they are better but i know humbolt is good. and r/o is a necessity...
uv light is good helps with trichs..
and going from soil to hydro would help yield... if done correctly.
yes a lot of the ballast companies are doing this with 600/400 watt systems and hydrofarm is even going with a 1k600400SL galaxy ballast.. will be my next ballast so i dont have to worry about it til it dies..
my light rail 5 helps even my growth out. i have a 6-4-6-6 setup(wattages of bulbs too many 00s haha) the 6-4-6 are inline and on the rail and my other 6 is a lil bit further away stationary over my 1st-3rd week systems. i want a 1k where my 4 is now to maximize my harvest but summertime is...
i have a one and a half year old mother that is tall and i am basically in the same boat. this was a seed mother. the rest of my mums are from clones and are much younger. I don't even take many clones off of them but have them around merely for genetics. they are in soil and in low light cfl...
stands for deep water culture... you are good with your system bro its kind of a dwc with aeration...and nft.. a regular dwc cant push plants to the limits like your system can. but like everything its only as good as you make it.
use a deep freezer as your res! atleast for the lights!? love the setup bro... makes me wanna go fresca... i wish there was a inline fan coolable 8" fresca... the best of both worlds!... im high, but i know it would be badass...
do you use a filter for the water in your frescas?
the 8"ers are better simply because they have more surface area. so go with them... industrial chiller 1/2hp per 1kw... insulate all tubing, mostly 1/2'' and a manifold system for 3 iceboxes plus... it can be done. in a normal basement should work wonders. i also recommend using a deep freezer...
i have a similar setup with much less wattage and room to work with. i have 3k on a light mover, which is actually the only thing keeping me from changing my indirect cooling to direct cooling. im still heating my home with these at night haha. i also have a manifold like yours, just not...
