When your on a CONSTANT FEED, you have to make sure that you ensure a propper PPM (Parts Per Million) for that stage. www.AdvancedNutrientsOnline.com has a calculator which tells you good PPM's for each phase of growth in HYDRO. Make sure you do not overfeed. Ler me reiterate, DO NOT OVERFEED YOUR PLANTS IN ANY HYDRO SYSTEM. If will screw you out of some good bud, even if it happens accidentaly and was quickly fixed in an earlier stage of growth, it WILL mess up your budding phase later in life no matter what.

If you have the money, I have some great great products you can buy with some cheap places online and can instruct you how to build the proper home made system. I have some very cost effective home made kits I have made just out of looking for new ways to grow that you would really appreciate as a DIY person.

If your method of purchasing nutrients is all online, go with them, but if you have a local shop where you can buy nutrients like a Hydroponics store, get Liquid Karma to start you off, they dont have liquid karma, you in the WRONG shop. Best universal product for initial phasing due to its content of Humic Acid (Growers secret weapon). Its made by General Hydro, well known brand, I'm sure you know the name. Get some nutrients from the store, its all good for your plant, some are just regular fuels, some are premium if you catch what I mean.

I feed my plants Advanced Nutrients formulas and micro nutrients. I got to say that when you see what your plants do in soil then do in aqua culture with good nutrients, dude, its amazing what they do in a matter of 3 weeks!!! No Joke. I have a good mix of the nutrients I use for every phase of growth, if your interested I can give you the information and where to get it. Only problem is that they are a Canadian based company, shipping costs and such are pretty pricey, but worth the investment if you got the money. I paid 119.00 for all my growth stages nutrients plus 30-40$ shipping. Meaning I bought the package and am good to go for my Germination throught Harvest. If you want to grow on a drip feed system that gives you a constant way to drain, yeah, run 24 hours. There are alot of different drip feed systems. I don't know what kind of system you have ie. deep water culture, or aeroponic where you mist the roots instead of water saturation. Makes a big difference. If your deep water culture where your roots are constantly immersed in oxygen enriched water with smaller rockwool cubes or no cubes, just hydroton witch is OK contrary to popular belief, then yes, run 24 hours if you would like. The small rockwool cubes or the perfect start cubes are good at absorbing nutrients and draining quickly. I found out that the larger cubes hold a little too much water, and that the hydroton holds the weight of the plant nicely.
