Learning the lesson now hahaha… never trust the breeders notes. Makes sense why I started getting rando tip burn and PPM outflow increasing last week or so. They were ready to be fed less. Pulled PPMs down 250 the past week and they seem to have reacted quite well. Swelling a lot.
Thanks for...
Nice. Appreciate the input a little sooner than I expected but like I said, it’s my first sativa. She’s been pretty uneventful thus far. Hoping she rides out across the finish like that way.
Thanks man. Yea, I got no travel planned til mid February so absolutely no rush. Gonna let them ride out.
I think what I’m after is… trying to decide when I want to progress from weeks 3-5 to weeks 6-7 on this chart. Does that make sense?
Trying to let ‘em eat as much as possible as long as...
Hey, first sativa (Zkittles x tangie power) I’ve ever run. Seeds said 8-10 weeks flower time. I’m currently 7 weeks post flip…. so about 6 weeks into flower.
The Gen Hydro trio provides an 8 week schedule for nutes/PPM adjustments. Since these will definitely run 10+ weeks, I’ll need to begin...
I second this. 2/3 of my zkittles are throwing these. They showed more often as seedlings/early veg when humidity was high 60-low70% range. Additionally in late veg/early flip I was lazy about setting up a dehumidifier. I hit 69-72% RH for 3-4 days and a few more popped up on random branches...
I thing was unclear/vague. I placed the seedlings from solos to the 5 gallon pot and a couple weeks in I got to watering @ 350ppm to far outside the rootball leading to a build up, so
I flushed 3-4 gallons of slightly under 200 through each to get them back down. From there it was a slow process...
Currently I’m at ml/gal:
2.5 micro
2.5 grow
1.2 bloom
3 tds calmag (leftover from previous grow trying to finish bottle)
Otherwise I do one batch of water with a few tsp of myco/gal.
*usually 7-9ml of ph down (diluted in tap at 1/10 ratio) to get ph in range.
Ph usually comes to 5.7-5.8 and...
Cool, on top of that I don’t vividly remember ph’ing all the water for my flush. I probably forgot. So all that woulda come in at 7.4 were my tap is. I’m thinking I had a few things occurring….
- Ph issues leading to stress/ph swings
- Low fans led to irritation/blisters on the leaves at the...
Additional note… at last feeding an hour or so ago, the PPM out has finally surpassed PPM in on two of the three. I feel the plants look a bit perkier too.
Could the low runoff EC be due to the flush I did? Ie input for flush was a bit under 200 and it just taking time for the next 4-500oz of water to pull the ppm up?
yesterday and today all my runoff has been from about 75 ppm below inflow to about 20 ppm above.
I did a pot volume calculation...
No, sorry if I was confusing. I’m providing food with every water. My only flush was at 195ish PPM.
The main variables I see fluctuating in my notes are PH out increasing as I increased PPM in. Could ramping up the PPM too high following my flush have pushed the PPM range at the root zone so...
