I understand that you really need to have at least 18 hours of light during the vegetative stage, but what are the advantages/disadvantages to increaing the light cycle to (21/3) or just 24hours on?
Hey! I just spent the $ for a Hanna PH/TDS/TEMP monitor and it's giving me much different readings than my ph droplet tester kit.
With my color chart droplet kit I am getting just on the orange side of yellow which I assume to be 5.5 - 5.9 based on the color chart.

I just flushed both with 1/2 strength veg nutes and cleaned the res and changed the water to all 1/2 strength veg mix. 3-2-1 Grow-Micro-Bloom General Hydroponics. with 1ml/l of b-1 Thrive and 1ml/l peroxide.
Will post results in a few days.

Res temp is mid about 70f

I was thinking of using 6x7 for 12/12 and 6x3 for 18/6. With flourecents for babies, 400w MH for clones and mother and 1000W HPS for flowering room.
I really like using DWC but I don't know if that's a good method for that much space.
I'm going for best product, not most quantity.
I am looking for any tips or advice regarding issues or problems when transfering a hydroponicly started plant into soil? The PH level in hydro is 5.6 apx. should I raise the ph slowly for the soil? Should I pull away as much rockwool as possible?
I'm new to soil......
Thetopic covers my question.
With a plant that is recommended to flower for 8 weeks and best results in 10 weeks. Can I expect it to be less time with bubbles in 5 Gallon? Ballpark?
