Thanks for the heads up. I'm only thinking of MOAB, because I recently found a tub of it in my storage. I don't remember buying it, but, well, there it is. Do you have a cheap micronutrient mix that you recommend?
Ah ok. Thanks for the info. I thought purple stems is a given. Can't seem to get rid of it.
If only I can get some Jack's MOST and MPK. I'm thinking to use MOAB instead of MPK.
I'm about at 2.4 EC, but tbh I don't have the experience to see something wrong with the plant and know what is wrong. Is it a deficiency or a lockout? etc.. There are so many variables with delayed and vague feedback loop, lol.
I'm spending the rest of the day preparing the flood and...
...of course, I can be wrong. I feel like something has changed. I recall Gene Green's YT video breaking down the elements, and the ppm coming out to be around 800 with the 321 ratio...maybe he was wrong? lol I don't know...
I just fed with bloom formulae. yes, it's strange, no calcium. I wonder if that was a practical decision, since the goal was to make a 1 part bloom booster formulae, and they didn't want to risk precipitation...I'll check out that podcast. Thanks!
Wow, looks fantastic (despite the burns).
I see that your medium setup is similar to what I did a few years ago but failed due to spider mites. I used a fabric batting instead of coco mats. I'm about to try again with a couple of plants, and want to ask you:
Did you stay at the 321 ratio...
I agree. I guess Jack's has jumped on that bandwagon now.
I'm about to flip to flower. Been using the Jacks 321 formulae mostly with additions. I've read that I can keep using 321 ratio, but then other posts and YT videos recommend changing to Bloom, or 222 ratio, etc.. Not sure what to...
I've been suffering from what appears to be cal mag deficiencies. Growing in rockwool and LED lights. I JUST ran out of CaliMagic. Instead of buying more Cal-Mag, can I just bump up Part B and Epsom Salt? If so, by how much would you recommend?
by soil, I assume he also means full organic. I know nothing about that growing method. I would love to learn, but don't have the time or extra money to go down that route.
