Okay friends please help me out, I've tried to research on my own but either the advice has too much jargon for the newbie that I am or it's not advice tailored to my grow.
Details To know...
Mars hydro LED
Pro-mix HP medium mixed with 30% to 40% worm castings (most have suggested that's a...
I do not see any pests. I have a mars hydro LED light. I've only gotten a good ph tester 2 weeks ago. It looks like my mix was probably around 5.5 prior to amendment, once I started testing I've upped it to 6.2-6.4 with ph up. I feed every 2-4 days, all watering has nutes. I'm roughly at 50%...
Okay so details... this is my first grow
1. Indica, forgot the strain (will be labeling my stuff better in the future.
2. Growing in mycorrhizae hydroponic mix (is there a name for this that everyone understands?) Contains about 35% worm compost
3. I started off under-watering and not...
Running a mycorrhizae pro mix porosite. Mars hydro LED. Iguana bloom juice and calmag for nutes.
Made several mistakes in the process but proud to have gotten this far. How many weeks away do you think this is before harvest?
I see that I have nutrient burn so I'm working on my ratios and...
So then is the answer then to let the mix sit a day or so and test where it lands? If adjustment is needed I use a bit and wait another day, until I get used to where the buffer is?
I've seen charts with 5.8 though 6.4 depending on stage
First grow (hydroponic using promix mycorrhizae)
And I've been talked into paying attention to my ph in my nute water. So I bought a ph-80 s
Tap water ph is around 8
Using iguana juice bloom at 4 ml a liter.
Mixing a gallon jug nutes + water = ph 5.5 or lower
I have ph up but it seems to...
Yeah, doing a scan it seems like many go with a 20 to 25% worm casting. Sounds like I was given bad advice on 50/50. Wish I saw that earlier... I've had to use it as fast as I make it and I wanted some for my veg garden.
I do have additives to increase or lower ph, guess it would make sense...
My water/nute ratio is accurate when filling gallon jugs, I was just never clear on how much of the water/nute mix to give a plant when feeding. I'll attempt to find more balance in watering, I definitely was under watering at first but I may have gone too far in the other direction to resolve.
