Yeah in most applications, 50w sq/ft would be complete overkill. Better have some heavy duty ventilation/CO2 supplementation. Or they would be doomed. Especially in a tent. I think tents can be a good idea, but I also think they are a recipe for having a hard time to get enough fresh air...

I use 40w sq/ft as a guide. You have basically 4 sq/ft. 4 x 40= 160w. At that rate, a 160w, would be fine. But one can buy a bit more powerful light, with dimming function, and wont run the light as hard. At that rate, 200w would work. Just make sure the light has quality LED chips.
