id say leave the glass on because the light is gonna generate heat in the room no matter what even if there is or isn't a fan running air through the hood.

for 8 plants in 3x3 area I would say go with the 1000w.

please some advice, i am used to growing in my house where I can take advantage of the central A/C. I just dont know how well the airflow is going to be when my only intake on my room is via the A/C.
