hi kush... i tried using baking soda to lower ph, but it caused a bunch of other problems for me, from what i have learnt try using lime in your soil mix if you havent planted already, else you can aggitate dolomite lime in water an pour, the lime stabilises your ph, lowering it, but not increasing it.
