How long are you guys getting out of the diaphragms on this pump? I recently upgraded and only got a month and a half out of it before both the diaphragms were shot, now I'm waiting a month for repair parts... Maybe I'm running it too hard, only using 6 of the 10 outlets?

    Precipitate

I'm having some percipitat issues in my rez. Running jacks 321 in a rdwc system that also feeds a drip system. I have somewhat hard water 300+- ppm, and when I add nutes the rez pH rises overnight from 5.6-6.0 to over 7. When I adjust in the morning the rez is cloudy, almost milky, once pH is...

    Fc-e8000 220v power

I think what you're saying is exactly what I'm trying to avoid... lower voltage less efficient 6.6a @ 120v 3.2a @ 240v And I'll be using 240v directly from my panel with no additional transformers. According to the amps to watts calculator, I'll be saving like 60-80 watts per light at max draw...

    Fc-e8000 220v power

    I have 240v available, I wouldn't be using a step up transformer....

    Fc-e8000 220v power

Double the voltage = half the current, so the light will use have the amps at double the voltage. And your paying for amps not volts Edit: watts are what your paying for

"but efficiency may suffer on lower voltages." What do you mean by this? I actually just got a reply from mars, they are automat switching (sensing). Thanks

    Fc-e8000 220v power

I wanna run my lights on 220-240v to save some money. As they're listed to operate on an input voltage of 120-277v. So, does anyone run their mars hydro light on 220-240v? If so, do the drivers automatically switch for power input, or do I have to open it up to manually switch power input? Thanks

    Downward curled leaves

End of week 8 update. I don't what exactly the issue was or combination of issues, but I'd consider it slavaged. Thanks all

I stuck a thermometer into the bottom of the pot and its 67⁰, I put a foam floor mat under it and turned the light down a little. Is it safe to assume if it does recover I will only see progress in the new growth?

Thanks pH has had very little fluctuation, and even with slight changes of a couple tenths, the soil slurry is always 6.5 +/- .5 (I'm using a lab quality pH probe that I am very confident with. I've been using the same model for years and they are always spot on when maintained properly) This...

I'll give a shot. Think its salvageable? Thanks!

No change in lights pH is calibrated every use. It is sitting on a cold surface, 65⁰ +/- concrete floor.

I'm confident that I'm watering slow enough, the lower fan leave dont appear to be thirsty, except lately right before a watering, because I've holding back... I'll try to up the watering and see what happens

Thanks everyone. At this point I think I'll try upping the watering, and cutting out calmag.
