Hey ya they have healed up well nd the 2 new colas r coming in good
and I am growing in soil so just need Nutes for flowering I have canna
Terra vega 3-1-3 for veg but everytime I try a smalll about less the. 1/4
the recomended dose they start to yellow at the tips of leaves new and young

You have nothing to worry about with the topping; by now I'm sure you have noticed that they have fully recovered. Don't worry about tying them down yet. If you need to do that because of space constraints you can do that later; these things are like rope. As far as nutes. are you growing in soil or in hydro?
