Started growing organic herb in 1995 and can probably count on one hand the times I've used salt based fertilizers. A single application of micronized sulfur goes a long way against powdery mildew. I like things old school. Old school pipe styles to smoke out of, sowing seeds and thinning the males, and burying fertilizer at the bottom of the pots.
