I've got info straight from all the asses mouths. The guy who had the article (Larry deceased in 2012 from MS) in high times did not originate the strain. He was caught with !ALOT!, but had MS AND therefore didn't do time. He called it the best strain he grew and high times named it pinconning...

Actually high times named it. It was just called the best didn't have a name. That's how it got it's name.
