Weird it sounds like an to based on flowering, but I've seen no evidence of cloning autos. I took this after it started flowering too, so that would be another hurtle if it were possible. Like anything with this plant though experimentation is key and keep up the good work. Who did you get the...
My understanding is that autoflower cuttings wont root or anything. I guess I could see if this flowers since it's been chillin in water for over a week looking healthy
Cool concept, but not really my style. I'll be keeping an eye on your other thread for updates. My next project is going to be in a 10 inch bonsai pot I believe. Time for a go at roots over rock!
Here's Project #1 taken at day 65. Today is 67 and I'm considering chopping. Thinking it would be really cool to de pot, spray off substrate (whatever is remaining anyway) and dry it with the roots on. Picturing the root ball to look like a package of noodles :)
Thoughts?
Incredible thread and work @Silky_smooth. I really like your drainage/watering technique. Are there holes at the bottom of those pots with the rock layer/straws?
Oh yeah @Silky_smooth have you ever smoked out of one of those long shells in image 1? When I lived in costa rica we'd walk dow to the beach, snap the end off and back up a bowl
Dude it took me SO long to figure our cloning. I even tried building an aero cloner! It worked perfectly mechanically but no roots. Finally had luck with straight up peat plugs on a warming mat with a 5600k cfl. Post up when you start and please lmk if you have any questions!
