Anything over 80F and under 85F is where I keep my temps with c02. Keep an eye on RH, that will shoot up and mold will love the high RH. Serenade or sulfur burner should be your new friends...

I know of a Pro breeder who uses fox farm soil with fox farm nutrients. Just recently started using Promix HP with different additives in the soil. Alot use Floranova, Advanced Nutrients, Humboltd's nutrients and fox farms. Honestly nothing is wrong with Fox farm soil and nutrients easy to find...

If you transplanted small plants into 5gallon pots and you dont see much growing going on. It could be due to the roots growing underneath the soil. 18/6 light schedule should be fine under the 1k MH. Just be able to control RH and room temp and you should be fine. Dont over water or over feed...
