Fishmon, I looked at the groplanner gp1600m light you mentioned. It looks like a nice light at a nice price. But is total 300 watts too much for my 236 tent? For that price, I’d get it if it’ll provide better coverage.

Per the CFM calculations, I read that if I want to keep both those big components that peeps usually hang at the top out of the tent, then more CFM needs to be worked into the final equation. But those items out of the tent increases noise levels? Man, it’s a circus act to work out all these...

So I imagine that 6” venting components would better suit light expansion down the road, again keeping in mind avoiding hardware overkill? Also I gotta remember not to forget the amperage buildup of the components that would be taxing the wiring of my 60 year old house.

Obviously I don’t wanna get more hardware than what would be adequate

I’m interested in keeping both carbon filter and outtake fan outside the tent to have more headroom in there. Problematic? BTW thanks y’all for all this great info and links etc.

I’m leaning heavily towards a Gorilla 2x2.5 that has an optional 1’vertical extension so height won’t be an issue at all. I like that the footprint is just a wee bit over 2x2 as I have to stick to a small footprint. Tent’s a bit pricer than low end but that’s ok as I don’t plan on upgrading or...

I’m looking for some recommendations of 2x2x6 tents, mid-range quality/price. I don’t like to buy cheap stuff that has to be replaced, I prefer a 1 time purchase, but don’t need to go top of the line. Thanks

I’m looking over your grow and saw how you topped above the first node (day 29-30) which is a pretty ballsy move, right? The little that I’ve read so far says to top somewhere between nodes 3-5. You took that axe to the base! What difference do you think that made?
