no you just do it on a branch. i wouldnt do it to the main strem.

so your basically chopping the whole plant in half?????you then have a lower half and a bottom half growing two seperate plants???/ and is that good??

after you get the roots by doing this, then you just clip it off the plant and put it in a growing container. it is a clone.

WHEN YOU DO AIR LAYERING it says that when the roots come in your now ready for propagation....what is thaT and what is the point in air layering nthat was interesting though
