not ideal .. one no one here has told you is that the pack will pull the excess moisture out of the bud often quicker then a proper cure without it...Like dude above said, you want to try and start the cure at like 65-68 (some even go 70, but can't stay in that range for long or u do risk mold)...

Cannabis has to be heated to 180 degrees in order to make any edible form of it, so 170 is way to low just fyi. Try 240 for an hour, taking it out every 15 minutes (3 times total) next time, and your mind will be blown.. literally.
