What ever happen? I had the similar problem.... definitely lost a lil but , due to the light burning them... corrected my problem by simply topping earlier then flower stage, very simple I know...lol...at least for next time, you shouldn't run into the same problem

I usually germinate in the paper towels(on a plate). really not that bad...but when I did use the heat mat....I think I almost lost my seedlings, hopefully not, seems like the heat mats work very well, I think too well for people using paper towels. paper towel just dries up at the bottom too...

I definately do prune. mostly underneath where my light is not penetrating. You know those smaller leaves and branches, mostly fan leaves near the bottom... It definately takes a day to recover, but I was told that keeping them trim down low, helps the circulation of air underneath. I dont go...
