They are a bunch of clows.

I don't mind patties at all- the only thing I dislike is the indulgent tasty fattening buttery pastry and having to choose which filling I want, they're all good.

However I really don't connect with jamacain cuisine. Trinidadian food, with all it's indian, chinese and spanish influences cannot be compared to anything else. I get plenty of that from Roti Joupa on Clapham High Street.
