the fan in the box is what is generating extra heat. i look my fan out of my box and temps went down about 5 degrees. could have just been my fan but you might want to see if that helps.
the treads you love to hate. but i gotta ask
All these plants are in scotts indoor potting soil. None have gotten nutes yet. They get watered when the soil is dry. Fan is running 24hrs a day. Lights are 5 cfls in 42 watt or 2600 lumens a piece. Temps around 85-90 F
Sick leaves...
well the closet is cracked about an inch or so. the air is moving out but i assume it would be better to build a box with an exhaust and intake system.
its around 85 directly under the lights. i have a fan going at all times. how else can i get the temps down without sacrificing light? i think it would be extremely hard to put in an exhaust fan. i would probably have to cut a hole in the ceiling and i would rather not. would it be better for me...
not directly under the lights, i will pick one up this afternoon. the one crumpled up plant is dead, ill remove it later. i was thinking it was heat so i move the light back some. about an inch or two.
if you click on the url you can see better
