100% true. You don't need a fucking phd in plant sciences to successfully grow weed for a business to become profitable, but you do need a lot of experience to navigate the problems that arise.
but yea, if you're allowed to stack licenses like you are here in the midwest, it makes sense to just cram 20 plants into a 4x8. You save money on not having to train branches. That shit's labor intensive.
What are you guys doing? Outdoor? Indoor facility? Hugo rockwools with floraflex? or...
Meters cubed are better than feet squared. I math hard, bro. This is the mindset i'm trying to show these people at the interview if they really want to maximize yield. Not all places should be growing canopies in sq/ft.
Agree with a lot of this. I've been in med legal state since '09 (off top of my head) and just recently the state has began allowing the sales/facilities. Been growing since the beginning here.
Had an interview at a place that was hiring novice growers for around 36-45k/yr, told them i'm not...
Another thing worth mentioning as well is this. I believe because it is a micro business license they can't supply other dispensaries so everything produced at the facility needs to be sold in the front. I've spent time months ago studying the business model for this and if you just grow rdwc I...
Also worth mentioning they plan to do BHO extractions but i'm going to suggest they do fresh frozen rosin instead. All will be produced in house and i think it'd be better to do the rosin because it will be less equipment and safety regulation. This company is trying to become a local staple for...
That's why i was going to suggest to them to do one flower room organic soil to make sure we've got quality terps for the flavor snobs like myself, and then a rdwc flower room to be able to keep production high. Maybe even charge a little less for the rdwc because i can comfortably crank out 4...
no, the system would be a 25-30ish site rdwc system in a 1,000sqft flower room. The total allowed plant count for the entire facility would be 300 tops (if it gets approved) but for sure 150. So 30 plants in rdwc flowering, 30ish in veg, then the rest (approx 90 plants) would be maybe 40 super...
This isn't a very flooded market where i'm at just yet. People are very much into "craft" products where i'm at so the idea that you're supporting a smaller local venture here is appealing to the consumers.
