Just quoting what those "researchers" said, we're here to exchange ideas and experiences...no need to be hostile brother. Hell they can be wrong and you might be right lol They probably can go dormant for long periods of time, I've heard people stop for 6-12 months and somehow they still come...

I shut down sanitized and burned sulfur every single day also...still they came back From researchers they said life cycle (5-13 days) is short without host plant and cannot play dormant in any circumstances...just quoting what they said. I think russets can overwinter though
