Why isn't kief a good idea for vape juice?

I have a bunch of Kief and a bunch of small glass vials with screw on caps. If I throw in say a gram of kief and 3-5 ml of eliquid, screw the lid on, then throw that mixture into a small pot with water on low settings acting as a double boiler. I would then of course strain the remaining...
