Hi I need information and help about the root of my plant. I noticed the end of the root of my plant popped up from the soil. Eight hours later it turned yellow, dry, and curled. Possibly dead. I dug deeper and the rest of the root beneath the soil is white and looks fine so I put soil over it but now I'm worried. I'm using miracle grow soil with a 120 watt cfl two inches above the plant, and a fan inside 2 ft. By 3 ft. closet that's 6 ft. high. Am I doing something wrong? Is it normal? Oh I also planted the seed with the root facing up. What should I do? Please help I'm a newbie at this.
