Hi folks I've been reading around the forum and I noticed mentioning of the lights not being 100% when hooked up to the gavita controller. Does anyone else have this combo that can share some input. are you guys just bypassing the controller and plugging in to the power outlet directly?

Right but if I store it in PH7 would it not just be the same since the control is ph7

Hi i had a dumb question about the PH pen calibration. Is it actually required to Ph the pen if it always sits in the PH7 solution that I change out once a week? If the pen reads 7.0-7.1 each time I fire it up should it not be good?

I have the ppfd meter app downloaded on my phone, and I'm trying to figure out the correct light source type within the app so I can measure my ppfd correctly. I've looked at the specs on the gavita website and all it says is full spectrum. So which one would I select?

Instead of salt can I start adding cal mag?, I feed food, food, water. Every second day. Would it be best to add cal mag to the water or food?
