How do you this this progression?

Yeah definitely looks like something is out of balance. What kind of soil did you start with? What size pot? And did you add the "Zamnesia Monster Bud Mix" to the soil before planting?

Ffof soil reuse, soul amendment recipe

Definitely agree about keeping it simple and using an all-purpose organic fertilizer. When I started growing organically, I used the KiS Organics nutrient pack, and followed their directions for amending used soil. Per gallon, amend with: - 0.8 to 1.6 oz nutrient pack (or Dr Earth, Gaia Green...

    temp and humidity fluctuations

Yeah guttation could also cause it. Main thing is you don't want liquid water sitting on the leaves or especially inside the buds for very long. Botrytis spores need liquid water to germinate so if you can prevent that, you're taking a big step towards preventing bud rot...

    temp and humidity fluctuations

I'm assuming OP is referring to indoors. I'm talking about when the air inside the buds hits the "dew point" based on the temp and RH, and water vapor in the air condenses into a liquid on the surface of the plant. The main way to prevent this is improving airflow, both exhaust/ventilation...

    temp and humidity fluctuations

I dunno about terpenes, I think the bigger concern would be mold or mildew. For example, when temps drop and humidity goes up suddenly (like when the lights turn off), condensation can form inside the buds, which can create the ideal environment for mold to grow.

    Long Term Mother Care

Yeah it definitely seems like minimizing sources of stress is the best way to keep a plant vigorous and productive in the long-term. I guess one question is whether it's less stressful (for the plant) to keep a single individual alive for a long time and continually prune it back (bonsai...

coconut oil slow cooker = no effects. where did i go wrong?

Just a thought, I would use oil instead of water for temperature testing. Coconut oil has a lower specific heat capacity (takes less energy to heat up) and won't simmer or boil like water

    Long Term Mother Care

Are you talking about cloning and starting a new nother plant every year or so? Or keeping a single mother plant alive for multiple years? If you're actually trying to keep a mom alive for multiple years, frequent pruning is gonna be key, including the roots. I know I've shared this guide a...

coconut oil slow cooker = no effects. where did i go wrong?

I figure low and slow would work just as well, as long as gets warm enough to decarb and has some time for the THC to bind to the oil. I used to do the whole decarb in the oven, cook in a mixture of oil and water thing, it was a real a-ha moment when I found out it could all be done with just...

    Spotted lantern fly infestation

We have them where I'm at, they don't really seem to do much direct damage to any of the plants in our garden (not growing weed outside so can't speak to that), but the honeydew/poop could definitely pose a problem... One thing I've seen some folks do on trees is put sticky tape around the base...

coconut oil slow cooker = no effects. where did i go wrong?

I was thinking the same thing. My typical recipe as of late is a 14 oz (400 mL) jar of coconut oil with 20-25 grams of bud, and after straining I'm left with about 350 mL of oil. A dose for me is about a teaspoon (5 mL), so overall it's roughly half the strength of yours, per serving.

coconut oil slow cooker = no effects. where did i go wrong?

I also make coconut oil, but I put everything straight in the crock pot and let the bud decarb directly in the hot oil. After about an hour on high it gets to around 250F and CO2 bubbles start forming, then I leave it there to cook/decarb for another hour, then just turn it off to cool. If I do...

White dots on curing nuggets :(

^^^ this is definitely the easiest way to tell if you're unsure. Scratch at the suspect area with the tip of your scissors, trichomes will break off and look like snowflakes falling, mold/mildew spores will look more like a puff of smoke.

White dots on curing nuggets :(

There is most definitely mold along the stem in pics 2 and 3. Looks like a lot of dead (as in dead prior to harvest) calyxes in pics 3, 4, and 5, too. I've been there before unfortunately. It always shows up in the last couple weeks and starts deep inside the buds so you don't notice how bad it...

    AK47 issues

It'll be okay. Get it closer to the light if you can, and some air movement to help strengthen the stem. And don't keep it too wet, I've found they like minimal water at this stage until their root system is more developed. Good luck!
