It takes about 60-90 seconds to fill the buckets.. And about 90 seconds to drain. I flood for 10 minutes at a time. Yea, from reading here it looks like Hydroton only should water more than 3 a day. But it seemed to respond to 3x a day? The water comes up to about 2" below the rock line...
