I love my 2 Vitex! They are very drought and heat tolerant + they attract bees (good insect) and butterflies! AND it blooms all summer with 8 inch purple flower spikes!! You can dead-head it for quicker blooms! A blue ribbon plant! It's also called a Texas Lilac! AND it's also called a Chaste Tree- used by monks in europe. The seeds were used like ground pepper on their food......to reduce their sex-drive! Like Chastity!
And yes, a parasitic wasp = benefitial insect! Thanx! 420!
