Tincture Hash:Alcohol Ratio

I've got a few questions about making tinctures.

1. Do I need to let the hash sit in the alcohol for a few weeks like flower or will it absorb instantly because its all resin heads and no chlorophyll?
2. Is 4 grams of hash to 50mL of everclear going to be strong? I figure the hash is about 50% THC so that's 40mgTHC/mLEverclear. I've never done sublinguals but I want it to be crazy strong.
3. At that rate what would be a good starting dose? 1mL?

The plant material has already been removed from the process when starting with hash, so you can simply regularly shake it in a jar while soaking for 20 minutes and then filter out the solids.

You can also make it any concentration you want, by simply letting some of the alcohol evaporate.

If you are talking about sublinguals, 190 proof will burn your tongue badly, so enough has to be removed to get the concentration below about 80 proof. That means 40% alcohol and 60% solute.

The way we achieved that was to add in other things to keep it liquid, make it more palatable, and add other medicinal effects. See my Holy Shit formula at:

How do I let it evaporate without a flame? Just leave the bottle open?
