Running New Strains from Seed In Flower.

I started with two regs female and one started growing a shitload of sacks at the lowers around week 5 and I was quick to remove it and the cuts of it. I’ve never had a herm but I was confident that was my first lol.
The terps remind me a lot of Citrus Farmer by DVG. STRONG smells of an orange peel and fruit. Don’t care to much for the bud structure but we’ll see what the smoke is like.

Here is one pheno of the Peter Butter Breath. I don’t care to much for it so far. Donkey colas and still pushin lots of white hairs. The terps seem buttery/nutty/complex. I was hoping for more but we’ll see at harvest and smoke what it brings.

The purple ice water on the other hand I love the way it’s stacking. Golf ball size nugs. Easy trim come harvest. Frosty AF! Terps are fruity and gassy/complex. Both phenos appear very similar but smoking them may be the difference.

Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by! I haven't done a "grow a long" in awhile and wanted to share this run. I am running a 4x4 (15 New Beans) and a 4x2 with 3 new clones which are from compound genetics and hunted by CLTVD and cloned through tissue culture.

TWO TENTS.

TOTAL OF 15 Beans.
Currently in 1 gallon pots thus far. My plan is to get them big enough to take cuts and transplant into 2 gallon pots and flip.
All males will be getting plucked! I'm hunting for new flower to smoke on that has great bud structure, bag appeal, loud flavorful terps that translate in the smoke.

In my 4x2 I have 3 clones from Mainstage Dispensary. These clones were hunted from Compound Genetic packs by CLTVD and tissue cultured and sold via clones. A friend turned me onto their selection. The terps, smell, smoke he has given me samples of are insane. I'm excited to flip these in a week or two. I will be transplanting these 1 gallon ladies into 3-5 gallon pots and taking cuts before the flip.

Hi everyone! Stopping by to give an update. Things are moving a long!
On the 4x2 side transplanted the 3 clones into 3gallons pots and waited a few days then fired up my cloner two days ago and I took 5-6 cuts of each of the three clones from compound genetics. I will be flipping the 4x2 tent for flower sometime this week.

On the 4x4 side the plants from seed are moving along. I was doing LST today and noticed splotches on some fan leaves and didn't think much of it initially because I've done a foop mist spray at lights out 1-3 times. Upon a closer looks its thrip damage. I have been pest free ALL year and BAM!
Time for war! I got the smirk because I know they are going to get CRUSHED!
Lights out is in 2 hours. Going to start with a special recipe from build a soil of essential oils and Dr. Bronners soap.
In 2-3 days my other weapon of choice will be to hit them with PureCrop1 at lights out. I will hit them hard every 2-3 days for the next two weeks.
Waiting to sex these out to cull any males.. I've seen some showing sex upon a closer look with a loop during LST but still to soon to confirm what exactly the sex is. I'll check back in a week or so with progress and pics!

A lot has happened in the last 4 weeks!
I am down to 7 confirmed ladies in my seed hunt.

I took cuts the other day and flipped.
Had some stress issues from being in smaller pots longer than I wanted due to plant sexing. They’re mostly bounced back.
The bags of soil I used from Soil King (Big Rootz) had thrips larvae and exposed my plants to some thrips.
I’ve been spraying at lights out with PureCrop1, and essential oils. Also using PureCrop1 as a soil drench and Using DE on top of soil for larvae. Haven’t seen a thrip or a gnat. Will continue to ipm spray 2x weekly as an ambulance of caution until week 3.

On the other side I am week 2-3 of flower. The cuts I took from these clones already rooted. Stretching has happened. Now they’re going to starting focusing on bud formation. They’re a little high on the nitrogen side and I didn’t do much training here but everything is crusing along.

Small Update:
We’ve been getting hit hard with a storm over the past few weeks in Northern California. 100 year old trees falling over. Black out last night for 2 hours. Had to reset my timers to reflect current time and maintain my 12/12. I’ll be in my 4x4 this coming week to do some training and selective defoliation for air flow, light penetration etc.

A Week Later. Progress. Stretching in the 4x4. In the 4x2 flower sites are getting bigger everyday.

Damn that tree ripped out was crazy! Just catching up man, plants look amazing

We’ve had some wild storms come through. It’s been raining for weeks. Dozens of trees out here have fallen. I think the worst is over. *fingers crossed* Thanks brother!
