Not a “new” grower but never seen this in my garden before

Can anyone identify the problem here? Because I’m stumped. Some strains are affected and some aren’t. Some plants of the same strain are affected and also some that are not. Day 45 currently. C02 turned off. Feed 3.0 ec as always. Flora flex nutrients. Coco as medium. 6.0-6.2 ph. Humidity 60% 78 degrees. I know I can’t help this crop, but can’t eliminate it from happening in the future. they weny from healthy to this in 14 days. Thank in advance to anyone who responds

Looks like either a nute burn or lockout. While I’m not a big coco grower, an ec of 3.0 seems high, and you might try lowering the ph to 5.8. I would also flush the pots, you may have a salt build up from the nutes, which is locking out just about everything. Hopefully we’ll get more ideas

Check your runoff EC, it should be enlightening.

lockout could very well be the culprit. Seems like a lightbulb went off when you brought that into the equation. I’m usually 3s and I’m currently in 1s for the first time. Normally only do hunts in 1s but was in a pinch. And irrigation wasn’t as frequent as could have been(drippers). Although it may seem obvious I’ve also never had lockout lol. And didn’t think that was an option with some. Basically dying and some not.

i would talk smack but a friend once told me a rooted clone can take the same strength nutrient solution that the mother can. also i googled 3.0ec and it says on the 500 scale(0.5ppm) 3.0ec is 1500ppm so its not that high honestly.
but it does look like you have nutrient burn up the arse.... or a very very very bad nutrient deficiency.
im currently in the beginning of flower and i hope i dont have this problem later on down the line :( keep us posted.

3.0 EC jeezus … not all strains will run heavy handed feeds - those plants are torched.
Last pic shows the heavy nitrogen use ( shiny dark leaf ) and purple stems.

I’m gonna say over fertilization .
I run 900-1000 ppm and no reason to shove anything else down it’s throat. Ph around 5.8 ( allowing for ph drift )
Nitrogen excess also affects flower ( malformation ) , I would worry at this point more over the necrotic leaf that’s pretty much everywhere.
Necrotic sugar leaf entering the flowers would pretty much kill the grow anyways ( mold / rot ).

one time you said necrosis = mold and i checked a plant of mine that had a dead nug on it and it was full of mold lmfao i think the hardest part of growing pot is mold foreals B word B OG!.

Lol. Yeah that’s the logic behind it. I’d say lock out is my culprit. I took a plant that was the most affected and checked the roots. Salt build up from the top to the bottom ‍♂

I’ve ran all these strains before. They all handle the ec extremely well. MAYBE tip burn but aside from that. Healthy and thriving. I’m going to say the guy who stated lockout was accurate. Which is why I have 10 deficiencies going on at once . Lesson learned.

I fought this on my grow as well. And I only feed 500ish ppm. Flush the pots with a super low feed solution. Like 100-200 until you get the runoff below what you normally feed at.

Just because they handle it doesn't mean they are using it.
Couple that with "irrigation not been as frequent"
And you've got a situation where that dry back is creating salt build up.

Your wasting your money at both ends..

Cut EC in half and increase irrigation frequency, it does the same thing without the problems you've got now.

Can we take a moment....... to appreciate how the plant did everything it could to resist the salt buildup, and also expel some of the excess nutrients out and through the leaves, while protecting the flowers that matter most? Like a momma leopard (pic 3 with all the spots!) guarding her cubs. It's amazing what these weed plants can tolerate!
