it's been in fade for the past two weeks.
all white hairs receded.
checking trichomes and they're cloudy but only a handful of amber...or are they? is "cloudy" just anything past clear? or will they be more milky?
and do you still feed / topdress once the plant has started fading?

I personally would hold off, (assuming your strain produces amber trichomes when its ready) not very many amber and still tons of clear. That last pic was like 100% clear trichomes. Your calyx look nice and enlarged, a sign of production. Just a tip... I personally search out the inner buds near the middle of the center colas and judge trichomes only from there.

Give it a week … do not count days - it means nothing to plant and “ actual “ finish time.

Scoping calyx is kind of unnecessary if you lookat what a harvest ready flower “ looks “ like over a few scoped areas. Triches are just one piece of puzzle - weight / bulk / colored pistils overall ( high percentage ) / etc.

You can also do partial harvesting - raking the mains ( most mature ) and leave the lowers and mid flowers to continue to add weight and size.

Looks like you will have some good righteous trim from that plant too.

Just know - it is too easy to pull a plant early , extremely difficult to pull too late.

Is Pineapple Express #2 a strain that doesn't produce amber trichomes? I'm ending week 10 of the "8 week" flowering period. They're all milky and have been for a while. No clear trichomes.

It's looking pretty good. I'd still give it a week or two...looks like it's JUST gotten to all brown pistils but looks like it could 'fill out' a bit more in terms of bulk.

i took her down on 1/7, about a week after this posting. drying now at 60*/50% and gonna check the progress tomorrow to avoid over-drying like my first plant.

When drying it's worth checking daily. I know lots around here that say 60%/60F for 10-14 days but 60/60 in my tent is 6-7 days, so I'm always checking.

When you do look again at trichromes from last time you will be able to see cloudy from clear just for future. Really nice job
