I've ppfd meter and photon
Both give different readings
Ppfd meter is aboit 100 to 150 higher than photon
Different apps work better or worse with different phones, and not in a predictable way. I found benchmarking Photone with my iPhone Xs Max it was within less than 10% variance from my Phantom Photobio, but others depending on what phone/hardware have not been that lucky or close.

That all said, It's well worth using the DLI calculator on the photone site to help dial in either your DLI or your PPFD. It's a useful tool no matter what meter you're using (I use it with my Photobio).

I never trusted any of those apps. Phones simply arent designed to read light levels that accurately. A decent meter is like $40.
