We're moving a long now

Hey guys,

Just thought I'd show a little progress with the first grow. It was hindered significantly at the beginning with a severe lack of nutes. I transplanted I to some ocean forest and have been top dressing with some gaia green 444, bloom, and started adding some molasses every other watering.

Pic.1: white widow auto I think 8 weeks now. Definitely stunted, but massive progress since the transplant. Buds appear to be forming, I topped the plant as i am using this grow as a trial and error grow.

Pic. 2: white widow auto. Stretched like crazy about a week ago and is almost double the size of the one in pic 1. It's different every time I check it. This was also topped.

Pic 3. Is a regular old pot plant. I topped this also and did some lst. She looks more like a bush now. She's still tied down and I have modified the tie points a few times to keep her open. I think I'm gonna do some trimming this weekend due to how much folliage there is.

Plant 1 and 2 likely have a couple weeks left I think. Then I'll harvest them. After that I'll be getting some more planted now I've learned some lessons. Next ones will be finished outdoors as the weather should start getting real nice soon

Plants here!!

There’s no way those plants will be done in a couple weeks! Couple months, yes. Don’t take too many leaves off, only to open up bud sites, tuck them if possible.

They're autos, you still think a couple month? I hope not haha.

The one in pic 3 I'm gonna say definitely a ways out.

Most plants you'll grow will take 8-10 weeks to finish once flowering starts. Plant 1 looks like it's on week 2 or 3 of flowering... so yeah you've got about 6 weeks to go at least.

I guess the buds will get bigger at least. Looking at them, I was expecting to only get a couple j's worth

I mean, it's a pretty small plant, it isn't going to yield much anyway. The general rule is to start autos in their final container, something like a 5 gal pot ideally.

The problem with autos is they can be a bit finicky as seedlings, if they stall or stunt there just isn’t enough time to get them right before they start flowering. I’d recommend photos for newer growers. That way you control what size they are when they flower. Autos flower between about 3-5 weeks, but the buds ripen at about the same rate as photos.
I should ask, what kind of light are you using? One of the plants is very leggy with big intermodal spaces.

Youre learning, enjoy the process.

If youre using a fresh bag of Ocean Forest, you dont need to use the gaia. Your pots soil will be good for about 3-5 weeks depending on how much run off comes out the bottom. Top dress with fresh soil once it starts acting goofy to preserve another 1-2 weeks.

If you want to force it to take in nutes, Use seaweed, molasses, and Ph'd water to about 6. I dont recommend this for this grow. It could burn or stunt your plant again.

I'm using an ac infinity 2x4 something I can't recall the actual model. 2x4 tent on a 18/6 cycle power level 5 about 12" above the plants

It went well until I left em in the potting mix too long.

That was was leggy from the start but the past week or so she has just rocketed up. I don't get it

Good to know thanks.. I has been going light with the nutes, but I wanted to give food rather than risk starving em again. I have been quite careful and am 6.3ish for my ph level.

In my opinion because its an Auto, trans it into a 5 gal and call it a day. Recycle the soil for your next run

Awesome thanks for that. There is so much info it's easy to over think and drown in confusion.
This is my first grow in probably 8 years. Was doing all sorts of extra shit in the beginning. The plants are producing nice buds and I made a ton of mistakes.

My next round of clones and 1 seed photo are night and day different care levels. Some people are very helpful. Some will yell Cal-Mag at every issue. Remember its a plant called weed because it wants to grow and isnt easy to kill.
