Lots of local wildlife around here. We have an injured raptor that perches above the bird feeders. You can see the wing hanging out in this picture.
In Ohio as a lot of places it is against the law to feed a wild raptor KNOWINGLY.

On an unrelated point in Ohio you can shoot crows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during a very long season. The great thing about crow hunting in the cold is that you can let them lay in the snow and they will not sour up the crow pie..

An Indian cormorant landed on the pond last week. They eat up to a pound of fish every day, although they only weigh between 1.3 and 1.7lbs. As a result of their impact on fish stock, there's an open season on them since 2020, from September 15 to the end of the year with a daily limit of 15.
