Yea I found a 12" x 3" but it was sold out and all I'm seeing is 8 x 2in so with that said I'll stick with what I have and they should work just fine. I think I'm over thinking it honestly
 
We all over think things we do not want to screw up. Human nature i guess. I try to keep it simple because complicating it could mean losing a crop.
I have lost lots of crops over the years.

I feel you I have other threads on here from a couple of years ago I think I have a start to finish. I did two dwc grows and they went fine. Will see though I just get hung up on mixing and adding especially with ppm gotta do home work on it. I'm gonna use GH feed 25gal res
 
I have used many nutrient lines. All liquids as I ran recirculating hydro setups. I have ran many local ones up to Botanicare lines and usually had to run RO and a chiller. I switched to Megacrop after seeing success @J2M3S had on here using well/city water. Usually you don't need a lot of add-ons as they over complicate things. Now my nutrients are Megacrop 1P, epsom salt, touch of dawn and a pinch of pool shock. Bud explosion will also be added in flower. I use a Bluelab Guardian PH and EC monitor and I have a wifi camera pointed at it and ac- infinity fan controller so I can check it when away.

That's the setup. I'm going to get the blue lab monitoring system can I leave in the res 24/7 though

Bluelab Guardian has been one of the best rdwc investments I've made. Probes are meant to be left in 24/7.

It's one of those things that you wonder if you really need it, and then after you get one you wonder why you didn't get one sooner.
