My grandmother used to drink it routinely, guessing for it's calming attributes. We have lots of chamomile growing in the gravel driveway but it's only a few inches tall, whereas this German variant is nearly two feet tall and just as wide. Not sure if one is better than the other.

Okay so epic failure but gonna try and read up some more. I think I need to start with smaller clippings. I did the hormone thing but maybe they are too large of a branch to get going or time of year.
You're totally right. Take some clippings in the spring and take smaller clippings and I bet you'll get it.
