My scale = 1 = ditch weed that gives you a headache. 5 = regular herb..gets you stoned...but not very and no smell, bland or harsh taste. 10 = dankest shiite ever.
Strain: Flying Dutchmen Royal Orange regular sex
Growth: Slow n steady. Just about doubles in size in stretch...grows bush like with a single dominant cola when untopped. Likes lots of nutrients and never showed burn or deficiencies. I'd say n00b friendly.
Nutes: VEG: blood meal and molasses. FLOWER: mg 15 - 30 - 15 and molasses. Flushed for 20 days.
Yield: 59 grams (about 2 oz + an 1/8th)
Bag Appeal: 7. No seeds, all bud. Nice sweet skunk smell...but not overpowering stank.
Smell: 7. I don't know if I'd call it orange...smells more like Welch's white grape juice to me.
In growth odor changed every 2 weeks it seemed. Never over powering though. It went from sweet skunk smell to light orange to industrial orange scented floor cleaner to light orange skunk by the end.
Taste: 8. a bit hashy, a bit fruity. Lightly sweet. I taste more orange than I smell. (still is a hint of welch's white grape juice in the flavor though)
The High: 8. I get nice and toasty off 2 one hitters (bat) More sativa (head) than I expected but there is body to it as well. FYI: I let it grow 68 days of flower. The majority of the trichs were cloudy...very few amber. If I let it go another week maybe there'd be more body to it. But as it is it's a creative/accomplish something high as you just want to be doing SOMETHING. This stuff would be the bomb on a nice hike or maybe at a party where you don't want to melt into the furniture.
Comments: Overall I like the end result. This smoke report is after a 3 week cure...I have a feeling another few weeks will sharpen the flavor a bit more. Maybe I'll check back on this report in a few weeks with a 5 week cure update. (the difference between 3 weeks and 5 was pretty noticeable for my DNA lemon skunk last year)
Not a big fan of the 10 week flower time but I did get a healthy amount of herb from it. I'd recommend it overall.
