Try vibrator batteries, they go forever 
I buy these Maxell's. I'm sure Duracell is better, but much more expensive. Watch expiration dates.

Actually just changed the batteries in mine today, which I have a few like that.
AG13 I believe they are.
I can buy them on Ebay cheap, or the supermarket for a lot more £ , but the pound shop sells them in packs with loads of other batteries that I don't think anyone ever uses, but it was £2 for like 20 batteries, 4 of which are the right ones. The rest will go in a draw until I have a clear out..
