My advice would be to not do DWC

Coldnasty please elaborate
I’m deeply vested. I’ve already got the rdwc system ordered from artisun. I do wish I would have pondered it longer before pulling the trigger. I’m gonna do the sterile method and run a chiller. People just do not realize how intricate growing can be. Very daunting at times but so rewarding also.

The reason I say that is because it just introduces more opportunities for failure. I think soil is easier and less entry cost. I get wanting to try different methods but think it’s overcomplicating it. I do wish you success though!

I agree with @Coldnasty, complicated, many more failure possibilities, but when done right, it's magnificent!

I like the car analogy I heard describing growing methods.
Soil= family car; steady, reliable, slow, low maintenance
Peat and coco mixes= sports car, faster, good performance, can be repaired
Aqua/hydroponics= a dragster, highest performance, highest maintenance, highest risk of catastrophic failure
Your dime, your time, your risk.
