those could just be stipules, or the pistils havent come out of the pre flower yet. and for drooping that means there is something wrong with your environment. most people say its becasue its over watered or underwatered. leaves curl when they are trying to perspire or sweat and are unable to. usually because theres to much water in the soil and they are trying to get rid of it throught the leaves but its to humid for it to evaporate off the leaves, so they droop. or it is underwatered and its trying to suck water in through the leaves and its not humid enough. so its either under/over watered and the humidity is a bit off. the humidity could be perfectly fine for a normally watered plant, but when its under water it needs higher humidity and when over watered needs no humidity. and heat stress can cause them to curl upwards.
